Well, ShellythePoet,
Not all of us can do. Everyone seems to have heard of anyone doing that, but nobody knows to be that person seems. I saw a woman in a TV program that it very difficult to study and eat only food that meets their needs. The food is an important component of treatment for diabetes, keep it with him. Consult a dietitian specializing in diabetes, helping them achieve their goals. But while you are working on taking the medication recommended by a doctor, check your blood sugar as often as you should tell your doctor or diabetes nurse, and do things you love.

If diet, exercise and medications do not work, it is necessary first to see your doctor or dietitian. The purpose of the control without drugs is good, control is the first. The complications of uncontrolled diabetes will make food seem like a small one. Once you have a control that works in the amount of movement and can reduce the balance of your diet to their need for medication. But every time, keep your blood sugar levels in the area welcome!

I personally think we should use everything at your available resources to help you in managing your diabetes. If this means that the drug use, then use it. But we have faithful to your diet. Count calories and carbs? Do you have enough movement. This will convert the sugar and promote the body use the insulin it produces the sugar into energy. Cut out all junk food is not nutritious. The American system depends on and do not need. Eat healthy meals and small and movement. Even if you do drugs, should help.
