Can my fiberglass boat (17' Tyee) with floor liner be sprayed with foam in order to make it quieter? - spray on boat floor,
I love this boat, but it seems pretty thin skin and the floor area is as noisy as it through the water. I wonder if there a way to muffle the sound of the water and it seems as solid as my old Grady White!

Yes, you can foam. I would not recommend expanding foam spray. These will continue to increase, but not so obvious that the filling area. Warning, if the skin is thin as you certainly have to say not to use extension. You can find it on your window and door section. Good luck and peace of this shift.
Many types of foam actually absorbs water.
Maybe you want the same stuff they spray test for loading areas. (Rhino Liner) is a spray of rubber that dampens the noise and does not absorb water. Available in various colors. I'm sure we've seen the back of someones truck. It is very durable.
Sure. You can also use a bit of foam polystyrene or polyurethane closed cell in regions with limited space.
